Journey
From a rented cart to owning the industry, Mr. Ramesh Gudmewar the founder of Ganesh Bhel possesses a journey unmatched. He initiated from the streets of Pune four decades ago and went on to take the taste of lanes to international platforms. It is unbelievable how a native snack is now a global favourite and is celebrated in restaurants on all occasions and otherwise.
Today Ganesh Bhel and The Chaat Cafe embrace a remarkable presence in Pune while exporting the tang and spice in the form of its signature Bhel to as many as 21 countries. Mr. Gudmewar and group are the firsts who fashioned Pani Puri as an exotic delicacy to be served on tables as well as presented several Fusion Chaats as a treat to Punekars.
